School Library Media Program Evaluation (SLMPE) Rubric from NYSED NYSED has developed, and made available on their website, a self-assessment instrument for use by teachers, librarians, students, administrators, parents, and school community members to assess the Library Media Program across 25 different "Essential Elements."
The SLMPE rubric was designed to help create a self-assessment instrument to support elements in the LMP, and aid teachers, librarians, students, administrators, parents, and school community members in collaborative development of action plans for program improvements toward meeting higher standards and improving student achievement.
